Hi.
I'm Magnus, a mechanical engineering student from UC Berkeley.
Thanks for visiting.
I’m Magnus, but you can call me Max. I'm a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at UC Berkeley.
Aside from my classes, I'm currently doing research on volumetric 3D printing, designing engine components for our liquid rockets, and building game fields for robotics competitions. My interest is in rapid prototyping and precision manufacturing.
On this website, you'll find various projects and activities I've been working on.
I’m actively looking for internship opportunities for Summer 2022, so if you think I’d be a good fit for your company, please get in touch below!
What I've done in the past:
Boeing Phantom Works Internship
I completed a summer internship at the Boeing campus in Huntington Beach, California where I worked on ultrasonic cleaning machines and distance sensors for the CST-100 Starliner and AUVs.

Volumetric Additive Manufacturing Research
I'm working with graduate researchers at Professor Hayden Taylor's lab to expand the capabilities of new 3D printing technologies with multiwavelength printing, print time prediction, and adaptive voxelization.

Children's Museum Volunteering
At the Discovery Cube Science Museum in Santa Ana, California, I helped guests find their way around the museum, prepared ingredients for healthy cooking classes, and made sure exhibits were enjoyed by everyone.

FIRST Robotics Competition
I managed volunteers, created presentations, wrote grants, ran tournaments, and ordered a lot of food for robotics competitions.
Pioneers in Engineering
I'm helping with the design and fabrication of game fields for a robotics tournament for underserved Bay Area high schools.
Space Technology and Rocketry
I'm currently working with the recovery team to design our first multi stage rocket.
